I've got what feels like an occasional misfire on my E300TD at idle speeds. You can feel through the seat one cylinder not firing in tune with the others.
Seems perfectly ok above idle though, no power loss or anything.
So with 168k on the clock, what do you reckon it could be? I know that the MAF is a bit iffy, when cold the engine surges in the morning. I also know that cylinder 2 has a faulty glow plug that I can't replace easily (some idiot welded the plug onto the head).
Dirty injectors perhaps?
