Actually, I only like to drive it late at night, when the air is cool, the sun is gone and the roads are dry!

But fear not, old bean... the car is driven hard!

And yes, you are right about the uv damage...

When the car is not used, it is tucked away in the garage with a blanket over it.

When I went to a PH meet at Brooklands, it was a hot day.

So I spent about 2 hrs the day before treating all the leathers and interior/ exterior plastics!!

I spent most of my youth and early 20's about 20 minutes from Bluewater lol. Living in the sticks has some advantages, not least of which is space and peace... However, farmer's are definitely a disadvantage. I keep my eye open for a suitable property in Kent nowadays as I'd love to move back there and be nearer family and mainland Europe.
