Finally given up on my CLK

Ok ive finally admitted defeat ive given up on my 2003 CLK 270 cdi.
After having had three injector seals replaced its started playing up again getting slight fuel smell and small popping sound thou cannot see where its leaking this time. With the knocking engine and
Ive put the car on Ebay as spares or repair pity because it still drives good but ive had enough of trying to fix it.

Have you got a link direct to your advert ?
 
Did you replace the copper washers yourself or at a garage? Seems a shame if you want to keep the car. Did you use genuine washers and clean the seat of the injectors?
 
The injectors were done at a garage using proper seals it probably can be fixed but I've given up.

The trick with these, apart from scrupulously cleaning the bottom of the bolt hole, is to use Honda washers.

I have never seen a failure after using Honda washers
