Finally happened my CLK has blown its injector seals

I have the car booked in tomorrow at a specialist they reckon they can do it in 2 to 3 hours. Im just hoping that it is just the injectors.

That sounds much more like it. Good luck - fixing blow past is almost normal servicing for a CDI so they shouldn't have any trouble with the right tools

Had the car done today two injectors were bad cost me £132 one had a very worn cap/collar thing which they replaced. The car is running sweet now but i still got the rattles/knock they reckon its from the cam area ?

A slightly happier bunny now.

Great news, just the rattle to go - either way how gutted would you have been to ditch a car for £132! Always, always get a second opinion even if the first is a mate in the trade - I do!

I don’t hear anything wrong, it sounds like a diesel! Could just be the audio on the video I suppose.

That sounds like a normal Diesel!?! Same as my 270 used to!?!

As above sounds fine to me too... can I ask is this your first diesel? As it can be quite surprising just how loud these old diesels are...

Unless the audio quality isn't picking up something - that's fine, it's normal CDI chatter, they're talkative engines hence all the soundproofing!

Sounds just like my ML270 did.

Healthy!
