CLS63s
Hi all,
I haven't been a very active member tbf.
used to own a beautiful cls500 w218 for 2 years which I've parted ways with in early 2020.. I've missed the car ever since, it was a perfect mix of aggressive, yet elegant looks, sporty, yet comfortable ride and an amazing sound of that glorious ttv8...
Having gone through m140i and ls460 ( which are complete opposites haha) I've always missed the merc, I was spending evenings watching old videos and looking at pictures of the car, I even reached out to the new owner, who has refused the sale..
Either way it brought me to the point where I was ready to start looking for my first AMG. I was after an m157 beast, obviously I really wanted a CLS63, however looking at the market I realized how rare the good example is to find. So I have expanded my options to e63 and even ml63. Of course the ultimate dream would be either a Designo spec or a facelift CLS63... not sure if UK ever got Designo facelifts so i didn't even dream about it :D

I continued looking and enquiring about more cars, I've gone to see around 5-6 cars, all of which were terrible, especially for the high price (price != condition in uk market) and I started talking to a forum member Cyclone1 - I wasn't even hopeful of getting my hands on facelift CLS63... Julian was extremely patient, polite and honest. He has done some tasteful mods, just the way i would've done them, the more i enquired and researched, the more confident i was getting that it might actually happen and i would buy the dream car. I've sent him a deposit whilst on holiday in Spain, the deal went smooooooooth, I loved the car and cannot stop driving it :D

Sorry for the long story, but here is my dream car:

Hi Roman,

It was a pleasure to meet you and importantly so fantastic to be able to sell the car to another enthusiast and Forum member. The car is stunning in the colour combi and slight enhancements, plus you take an amazing photo…..

Enjoy it to the max……..

Jules

Stunning car, and you can sleep peacefully at night knowing that Jule's will have cared for it beautifully!
I hope you enjoy it and keep us posted on your journey

Beautiful, would be proud to own it

Thanks guys!
I think I'm definitely continuing great care for the car..
in my ownership I have already covered almost 20k miles, with oil changes every 3k miles at brothers performance :)
had some routine work done and preventative maintenance, including cf intercooler, oil pump solenoid mod (arguable but i do find benefits), full front suspension overhaul including shocks and top mounts, gearbox fluid change etc.
onto cosmetics now!
although i do wash it almost weekly and paintwork is not bad at all, however i do need to remove road rash from front bumper and ceramic coat it to hopefully protect it a bit more, i know ppf would be better, but is a bit too pricey.

Thanks again :)

It wont hurt it....but every 3000 miles is overkill unless it spends all its time in town or on a track. They are every every 12 months or 15k miles are they not? I might be halving that if I drove hard....but no more. 15,000 rpm superbikes with far tighter tolerance engines than a car only need new oil every 4000 miles or so. Your car and your money though.
