Flashing dashboard and high beam

Hello, I have a problem with my ML270. (Year 2004) Sometimes when I turn off the engine and remove the key all the lights on my dashboard starting flashing. Now I noticed this is only appears when I leave the light switch on auto mode. When it is flashing and I turn the switch to off position the flashing stops. I guess this problem conenected to my other problem that sometimes my high beam is randomly turns on and off. I have a light level sensor fail when I connect the car on diagnostic system.

Do you have any suggestions what line should I check? I have heard about the tricky AAM module I think I will check the connection of that.
