Hello, yet another thing i dont know the answer too..... Got in my car this evening and started her up, wipers on, lights on, heated seats on and then the heated seat lights started to flash.... they have never doen that before......

Gina kindly suggested that they were flashing because i was too fat and they were telling me to get out but i think not.....

any ideas......

Has this one got people stumped.... i have never had them flash before and go off...... when i puled away they stayed on as normal.... i thought it could be too much drain on the battery and they were turing themselves on....

The lights flash and the heaters switch off if battery voltage drops below 11volts. Possibly an indication your battery is on the way out in this colder weather?? There are 2 settings on the switch depending on whether you press the switch once or twice. The higher setting would place a greater load on the battery.

I recokno you may have hit it right on the nose.... car does start rather slowly at the moment.....guess a new battery is in order...seems everything goes wrong at once

I bet your heated rear window doesn't work properly either :)

as Graeme said, time for a new battery.

Before you go spending loads see if you can find anybody local with a Halfords trade card (or try applying at your local branch for one). The trade prices on batteries is about 50% of their retail price and you still get the same warranty
