Came home last week suffering from the cold that is doing the rounds, put the car in the garage and hibernated for two days. When I opened the garage the alarm was making groaning noises and the remote would not unlock the door. The metal key opened the drivers door and found I had left the lights on. The boot would not open. STUCK. Then I remembered a post that there was a box under the bonnet with a battery terminal inside. Found the box and sure enough there was a large terminal. On went the charger and an hour later I was able to start the car. The BAS etc warnings came on but again recalled the postings. Pumped the brakes three times and turned the steering end to end a couple of times, turned off, restarted and all back to normal.
A BIG THANK YOU to those members who had posted the information that got me going.

Glad we were able to help.

Moved to electronics section.;)

just one thing.

you should have an alarm that goes off if you leave your light on.

Alarm should go off as soon as you take the ignition key out of the ignition when the lights are on.

You should get it sorted to prevent same problem again.
