Fleet orders cancelled

I noticed that one as well. I winder if they are open to negotiations

you go first then because im not prepared to part with my 124 even for a new posh C class:)

the two CLs are heavily discounted pre negotiation and so is the blue e220

its a very nice list imo certainly a good starting point for negotiation

Caravan site Blue? :dk:

:p

No, its a special colour called, ill-fitting roof seals blue. The idea is the cars interior colour matches the outside as it fills up with water, only at the back, makes it fun for roundabouts and recycle itself more quickly;)

It'll be a load of stock that hasn't shifted.

A business large enough to have all those cars ordered doesn't suddenly pull the plug.

A main dealer with an order that big doesn't let itself get to a position where the plug is suddenly pulled.

There would have been due diligence on both sides for that size of order.

It's a marketing ploy - I got the email too.

I'm amazed that anyone would think otherwise.

Agreed.

So, say you buy one of these cars, great deal, all happy.

On collection day you're chatting woth the salesman and talking about the cancelled fleet order - he's looking at you like you are a full-on muppet.

Cars will always sell at the right price with the right service/trust from the seller, lies and bullsh!t always leave a nasty taste.

I suspect that "they've had an order cancelled" and "now have to sell 35 extra cars" are not the same event.

I can't for the life of me imagine that list is a real fleet order, but maybe an order cancelled for other cars has left them well short of their quarterly target. As others have noted, the prices are nothing special anyway.
