Are there any UK suppliers of forged wheels?

All the forged wheel companies I find online are based in the US

Cheers guys.

Trying to find some light wheels of similar design.

I've looked at the ones Renntech do for example, but they're wanting over £4000 for them

I know forged wheels are going to be pricey but I'm hoping there are cheaper ones out there.

2 sets of bbs rs gt wheels in German ebay (Ebay De) at moment rash, 1 new set and 1 used, with tyres, albeit postal costs to consider as well, keep an eye on that ebay, Alps started me off on that, have brought a couple of things since.

Try BC Racing Wheels (Projex UK can get them) they are custom made but turnaround time is far faster than most, the quoted me 2-3 weeks at most times. They should be closer to 3K but that's right at the bottom of the price point for new forged wheels, do keep an eye out on eBay.de as you do get some real bargains on there.

Just been looking on Projex website..

I think I've narrowed it down to either ADV, BC, or 360 rims.

I'll have to call them and see what they're saying about price and fitment.

Finding the style I want is as much a priority as weight.

ADV10 Deep Concaves....

I like these ones but they only do them in gun metal.

Not sure if it'd work with a silver car.

Might do...?

BC HB29's

They do them in hyper silver and brushed.

The brushed ones look more concave for some reason.. maybe it's just the picture they use?

I'll have to ask them about that.

I would definitely go for something with a dish or concave.

I would also look at a more Motorsport look as well, something like the ADVAN RS-D or RS-DF.

Cheers for the suggestion.

Had a look at their site and it doesn't look like they'll fit my car.
They have other models listed but not the CLK.

I think its the same offset, bore and M12 bolt size as the C class W203

Hey Paul,

I've just been chatting to Stewart at Projex.
He says he will be able to find details of my car & offsets etc so we should be ok there.

I've decided on some wheels.

All I need to do now is decide on a colour scheme.

I've decided to have a matt black inner barrell and a polished lip.

Just need to decide on what colour to have the centre (the spokes).

I'm thinking brushed ali... but then I am also tempted by a matt gunmetal which I think could look very nice indeed....

I'm going to email pics of my car over to the guys at Projex so they can make some suggestions too.

If anyone has any ideas, it'd be great to hear them.

But it's just the spokes I am undecided on... I am definitely going for a matt black inner barrell and polished lip.

Depends on the type, semi and concave wheels with less spokes look best when bright so brushed ally will look best. Multi spokes (more than 7) that are flat will suit a Matt finish.

Yeah, I tend to agree.
I've been looking at pictures of the wheels in their gallery and I think I'm right in wanting the brushed ali.

I was briefly toying with the idea of matt gunmetal for the centres, but after looking at pictures, I don't think they will set the car off enough.

What is best to go for... 1 piece or 2 piece rims?

I'm assuming 1 piece is better for weight, reliability?

Having said this, the ones I am looking at are 2 piece.

Just wondering whether I should be concentrating on 1 piece forged rims.

I'm not considering 3 piece because I have read you can get air leaks with 3 piece rims.

We supply most brands of forged wheels aswell as our own 'Wortec' Brand forged Monoblock collection....
