I feel your pain Rash, I was told 7-10 working days. It's now 16 working days and no one knows exactly where they are, they have left the factory they can confirm that but don't even know which country they are in!

I at least get regular calls to at least update that they have not traced them yet but they are still investigating.

Spoke to Projex this morning.

They are still waiting to hear from the manufacturer regarding what they propose to do about their c#ck up.

The guys at Projex are being ok about things and said they are even alittle embarrassed about the situation.

Not that it helps, they did say that it is extemely rare for 2 orders to go through at the same time, to the same manufacturer, for the same wheels for the same car - which might account for the manufacturer assuming the orders were relating to the same car

Stewart at Projex says he will contact me as soon as they hear something.

I'm hoping the manufacturer will prioritise this case.

I would push for some kind of good will, say £500 for the extra wait.

I am not taking the pish, but why do you need new forged wheels? your existing ones are mint and you don't track the car so the weight should not be much of a concern.

Yeah, they're pretty expensive
I've only paid half so far too
But they are supplying and fitting tyres, as well as doing one other little job for me too, so the total is a combination of all these things.

I still like my current wheels and will probably keep them.
Whilst I agree with you about not tracking the car, I have always been aware that my current wheels are pretty heavy.

Would be nice to replace Dr Martins with some trainers.

Plus, it would be nice to have a change. I still love my current wheels, but the new ones should look badass.

You're right about a goodwill gesture.

Matt at Projex did say yesterday that they will sort something out.

I hope they stay true to their word.

Funnily enough, I told them that I want to wax the wheels a few times before they go on the car.

That said that's no problem and they will find a corner for me so I can do this.

Still not heard back from Projex yet.

I spoke to them this morning but they hadn't heard back from the manufacturer.

I am to assume they still haven't heard from them.

Into the weekend we go, having no idea what the hell is going on.
