Deane, are you using it on a PC or a Mac? If Mac is it latest OS X Mavericks? The listing says it's Mac compatible, but it that true? If I remember correctly, Mercedes EPC & WIS require(d) Java and IE to work, last time I looked into the matter, about 3 years ago.

Who is bitter? Certainly not me, infact I think it's good you want to help. My point was that the seller is making money on what he/she has obtained for free, and if you want to keep them up-to-date, there are places better than ebay.

Correct, installation does require java and IE

It works fine in VMWare Fusion, Parallels Desktop or Virtualbox.

Most of that IT stuff went right over my head but have pc and apple so hopefully be able to use it ....I never mind paying some one to do the work I can't like with the IT stuff ,,I am more of a hands on guy restoring antiques ,cars , houses and most things I can get my hands on ...so thanks IT guys hopefully this thread will help many out one way or the other

He was offering to run individual pages off for people not provide copies of the whole thing. As others have said, use Google if you want your own copy, whether as a download or physical disk like Deane X, or, if you want to be legit, join the other MB club and you get access as part of the membership.

As far as I'm aware the offline version will only run under XP so nearly everyone will need to set it up as a VM regardless of platform so if you're not happy doing that forget it.
