front electric windows

im having problems with my front electric front windows on my clk convertible, there ok giong down but when you want to bring them up they keep start and stopping and in the end i have to help them up by pulling the window upwards wile pushing the up button. any idear what might be causeing this to happen?

Do they have the 1 touch up/down feature? if so, they might just need to be relearn where the top position is. My w140 did this when I changed the battery, and to reset the auto feature it need the window to get to the top, then keep the up button pressed for 10 seconds. After that they worked fine again.

tried what you said but no joy, the drivers side is like its getting stuck as it comes up, and the nearside just keeps going up then stopping and does this about 5-6 times then goes all the way with no problem
