W211 2009 windows problem.

Best guess from me is a faulty SAM.

I'm not aware of fuse/s.
Limit or overload would cause a reversal of the motor, enabling another try.

You might try disconnecting the battery, but I wouldn't expect success.

Only other cause is if someone has been into the doors replacing speakers, and dislodged connectors. But that's straw clasping imo.

I'm sure Star would open / close from the screen, but would it show Sam faults? Or merely ask if testing was successful and then suggest further interrogation, of the SAM.

Tried the press recirc button but it doesn't do anything, not even to the passenger window.

Haven't set the icarsoft up yet.

Fuses ?

I have plugged in the icarsoft gizmo and via that I can control the following windows

Front right
Front left. (passenger, this one works normally anyway)

Rear left
Rear right does not work but you can hear the relay activating as you select up or down from the icarsoft.

In addition the drivers switch array is coming up as faulty (no communication with it)

Looked it up, I think there's three, two in the front and one under the car seat and I think it's that one that controls the windows.

I happen to have an old E280 w211 tgat I am brraking/scrapping, can I swap parts from a 2006 e280 to a 2009 E320?

You won't lose much by trying. Some think SAM's need coding but I've replaced with part worn, previously loved, rescued, refurbished, other than new before w/o issue.

Someone suggested that I disconnect the wiring to the rear door by unplugging it where the wiring goes from the door to the pillar (behind the concertina stuff)

Is that possible or do you need to remove the door panel and disconnect them from there?

(trying to eliminate the one door whose window will mot operate even via the scanner)
