Best guess from me is a faulty SAM.
I'm not aware of fuse/s.
Limit or overload would cause a reversal of the motor, enabling another try.
You might try disconnecting the battery, but I wouldn't expect success.
Only other cause is if someone has been into the doors replacing speakers, and dislodged connectors. But that's straw clasping imo.
I'm sure Star would open / close from the screen, but would it show Sam faults? Or merely ask if testing was successful and then suggest further interrogation, of the SAM.
