Front lower control arms w203

I have done the same although worn but not enough to fail just an advisory and as you have to remove such a lot inc the other track control arm to replace the worn one I purchased the item in this link. MERCEDES C CLASS CL203 COUPE FRONT CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT TRACK ROD END KIT | eBay
They seem fine.

I don't want to knock your helpful post but as a word of caution. Are these Lemforder parts? If they are not, then if you're doing even average mileages you'll be replacing them all over again in 12 months time. As I say, not knocking your advice just a friendly warning. :)

Loads of sources that are cheaper than eurocraparts for Lemforder (and other OEM suspects) including their own alias carparts4less most of the time and genuine parts from MB some of the time

Pages 75 & 76 of this thread explain one way of getting both the MB and lemforder part numbers as well as the names of several different suppliers who all work with both MB and manufacturer part numbers instead of their own inhouse numbers to make it harder to compare prices http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/part...much-does-fit-ask-your-questions-here-76.html

Random c180 control arm from ECP...

In their current [cough] sale [/cough] they're a touch cheaper* than a genuine part from MB Mercedes-Benz Parts, Inchcape and waaaaaaaaay more expensive than a Lemforder 29633 bought from various other sources. Note that postage is usually extra unless you spend x amount rather than free included in the price of every single part as with ECP/CP4L

* provided you use click & collect or mail order. Walk in off the street without the right "discount" codes and they're more expensive than MB

The parts came from a specialist MB supplier through eBay and they have 100% feedback but if they are crap it is a bit late now but only time will tell.

I agree with camerafodder. I fitted q drive front arms - all four from ecp. Two of them failed the mot less than 12 months later. Buy decent quality and save money in the long run.

Need to do mine raised a question the other week, one has pop'ed all its oil anther suspect ball joint. Been looking around for Lemforder parts they are pricey ecp seem to have endless deal so prices vary all time.

Has any one used 'in car motor factors' .co.uk they seem to be coming up cheapest or has anyone managed to get ecp to price match?
