Esso in particular in my area are slow to lower the price.
Tesco unleaded is £1 04 and Esso is £1 09. Not so long back Esso matched the cheapest around. Not any more.
We may see the supermarkets at or below £1 per ltr but not so sure the big boys will match it.

I need to travel to Tesco last two tanks I've put in were 95 Ron but it's not great for the car

Normal unleaded is around £1.03/£1.04 hereabouts and Super Unleaded around £1.08/£1.09

I think it will just be the ordinary stuff , which my SL idles poorly on with regular misfires , as opposed to Super which gives smooth idling .

No real noticeable difference in driving , but I do get an extra 50 or so miles out of a tankful .

Earlier this year, I think it was, it hit £1.09 for Momentum and I had saved up 10p off fuel.

Seeing 0.99p per litre for the first time in 15 years was quite strange.

Sadly I can remember it at 2/6d a gallon back in the 60's. Used to buy it for my Lambretta and add the 2 stroke oil.

Does this make me prehistoric?
