Fuse rating?

Hi, probably a stupid question, but the manual doesn't cover it.

Rear wiper motor seems to be on fuse 14 in the rear fuse box (C220 diesel estate) but 14 is listed as a spare with no rating in the Haynes manual, can anyone shed some light as to the rating of this fuse??

The switch illuminates when I press it, but the wiper doesn't move.
The washer works fine.

Could the motor be jammed?

Just been out to look, and the fuse in teminal 14 is a 15amp fuse, and appears to be intact.

Check for voltage at the motor connector while the button is pressed if the fuse is ok.

OK, thanks, and I guess if no voltage, then check/replace relay,and if voltage present then motor is dead?

Another little update:

This morning I switched on the heated rear window, and heard the relay click, but nothing more happend, so is it a problem affecting the whole tailgate?
I haven't checked to see if the third brake light is working, but will check that later today .

High level brake light works, so there it's not a tailgate issue....

Is it worth checking/changing the relay to the motor (relay 6 I believe) ?

Any ideas?

Have a bump again from me would be interested to know the solution as my rear wiper is inop too, switch lights up , rear washer works but the wiper wont !
