Along with thousands of others, my youngest son got his GCSE results today.
I thought some might enjoy his art work, for which he got an A*.
Each picture is 600mm x 400mm and created when he was 14 to 16.
His portfolio was shown at the Birmingham City University 2014 Gifted And Talented Exhibition in June this year .
They are shown in the order he did them and I think he matures as he gets that bit older (for example, note how the Subaru is a bit "heavy" in the first one).
His final exam piece on the industrial revolution hasn't been released by the school yet.
A motoring collage:
His main theme of war based projects:
His mock exam piece - an original idea (self portrait), completed over 10 hours
His collage interpretation of war based photos and paintings.
Clockwise:
An etching of Saving Private Ryan
Tiananmen Square
Lee Teter's "Reflections"
The Blitz
Warhorse
Iraq
And my favourite is his interpretation of Lee Teter's "Reflections" - a Vietnam War observation:
Thanks for looking...
