Best to do a search as its been asked a few times. No expert but you need to flush the torque converter as it hold a fair bit of fluid. Also there is a filter that need to be changed as well.
It's not difficult per se, but you will need the right quantities of the correct fluid, filter, gasket and a hoist (or maybe a pit). Sometimes torque converters have drain plugs - and sometimes they don't - this can apply to the same model of transmission. You should therefore research a number of situations and solutions. If the Tx is a 722.9, I believe they are replenished by a 'fill and spill' method and at a precise fluid temperature. The later is usually monitored using the Star DS.
It may be wiser to get it done professionally by a workshop that has all the spares, tools, know-how and a hoist!
