Hi Sean,
It seems that a CLK convertible is always the penultimate car in a convoy.
Today I followed a red one, in Scotland I followed a black one.
Both do look almost good enough to win the Rear of the Year competition.

Yep, it's fire opal red although it looks pink in the photos!!

Hi All, Great day apart from the White Dog - not the pub either which had several miss worlds as bar staff. I was behind rashman when it charged the side of him which is another thread.
Don, Rash, here are the products I mentioned at lunch:

The MXS 3.6 works brilliantly on my sl. Amazon have good prices.
Also Greased Lightening showroom shine, amazing waterless system, MB uses it and results are spectacular with minimal effort. Takes off tar spots, tree sap, bugs, mud as you apply and DOES NOT SCRATCH. Use an applicator cloth sprayed with the stuff as its easier to apply. If you spray it on directly, then it collects in areas difficult to get at, vents, seals etc. It does duco, glass, wheels, plastic, rubber chrome, the lot. Not supposed to use on front wscreen but I do. Greased Lightning | Car Care & Cleaning – Free UK Delivery over £30
