Thanks. That’s conflicts what others have said and on this thread too.The dip on the right hand shouldn’t be lower, and your’s definitely is.
Nothing to do with oncoming traffic.
Thank you. It's not difficult, when you look at the data plate on the o/s B pillar, there is a little headlamp symbol along with a percentage figure.
this is the fall of the headlamp beam setting.
It only shows one setting, and not a different one for each side.

You can adjust it with an allen key on the headlamp, the further away from the wall would ensure greater accuracy to get them both the same.Thank you.
Unfortunately I don’t have the car to hand so I can’t check this setting. I doubt they will be able to spray and fit the handle tomorrow so it will probably be early next week before it’s back but the garage is over an hour away so I don’t really want it going back again.
Is this an easy fix or is there something up with the headlight?

Just decide which one you prefer, the higher or the lower one.
Thanks again.
If it’s a simple adjustment I’m not sure why Merc are just not doing it while they have the car? Also it’s just had an MOT, I thought light adjustments is a fail?
Is the Allen key in an obvious position? I don’t really want to have to start taking bits off to get to it but if it’s a simple thing I just want my car back and I’ll do it myself.
Yeah, I don’t fancy touching it. Tbf the dealership have not been flakey with my list of snags, I was expecting some kickback but they said they have addressed all issues, I really wasn’t expecting a new door handle but they contacted Merc in Germany and they advised a new handle.Personally I'd advise against mucking about with the headlamps adjustments, given that you're not even sure there's anything wrong with it as is. If you're still concerned, and you don't trust the dealer, just take the car to a local MOT testing centre and ask them to check it for you.
I’m only relying codes the Mercedes assist gave me on the email report. I don’t really care what the problem is, it needs sorting and fast or that car will be back for sale on their forecourt. The adblue level measurement issue does not sound like related to y129 but more on the level sensor at the adblue tank. Both seem to have been parts prone to fail and rather expensive.
Does this car have the small stop/start battery? Fails more often than the main battery.

Assist guy said the battery was £250 to replace with him, no idea on the size. I was willing to let this go until the new year but it’s going to have to go back to get the adblue sorted anyway.
With what has been a difficult week with a poorly child I didn’t think a 29k motor was going to add to my worries. Thoroughly disappointed so far.
Thank you, sorry I didn’t mean to appear rude.I was mainly motivating you to look after the dealer that they fix the car and you can be sure they did it instead of clearing codes and hoping the faults would appear later at your cost. Insist a detailed repair description and parts changed and challenge the description if you feel in doubt (e.g. the level sensor versus Y129).
The small battery would not cost that much even at the dealer, if it even exists in this car.
