I'm with you on that one. I seem to remember that in the mid seventies they were talking about the world entering a new ice age. Only 25 years later, and suddenly we are about to melt.

And in another 25 years they'll be saying something different ' cos we'll all still be here and nothing will have changed except more taxes by whichever Government of the day. After this year's summer can't wait for the weather to get hotter. Xmas day bar -b- que with a bit of luck.

ahh but global warming could easily lead us into the next ice age

As the oceans warm (another argumnent here is that this is a different phenomena caused by an increase in underwater volcanoes) the polar ice caps melt which in theory could well cause the gulf stream to fail
