I've noticed Go Car Warranty recommended on Parkers now..

For my car the "ultimate" which seems to cover a lot, comes out at under £400 which seems like a cracking deal.

Anyone experienced them, good or bad?

From a repairers point of view I can tell you it always involves a very long discussion when trying to get authorisation to do the work although they have never refused it's not always easy. Best to deal with from an approval no quibble point of view are warrantydirect and warrantywise.
