Good buys?

I know the first C-class wasn't exactly renowned for its reliability and quality, but when they've been nursed are they worth considering?

At half the price of an equivalent 190, these ones seem like they could be good buys. Any thoughts?

Rust apart, 202s are bulletproof.

I didn't know people were asking that kind of money for them, seems an awful lot.

At first glance, I agree, but what else can you get for £3k-£4k that's that quality? I'd much rather buy SWMBO one of those than a Ford Fiasco or Vauxhall Corset, especially as she only does about 1500 miles pa.

Well if I was buying one it would be the first one,the other two are what I call violent colours and just do not sit very well with this car,added to that the first car is one owner,but your wife has to be happy driving a larger car my one will not drive my S320 so ,I have to drive and have one drink when out,my car may have to go.
