Google Earth

Thanks Steve - Failed site mate??????????????

The Earth At Night (Beta Temporarily Closed)

Welcome, frustrated would-be planet surfer.

We appreciate your interest in accessing 3D geospatial information, but due to the technical limitations of this beta launch, Google Earth has been forced to take a brief breather. Please check back with us soon.

Thanks,

The Google Earth Team

Anyone looked at this? Astounding technology ... wasted far too much time checking out New York, Venice, Las Vegas, my home town :D

Google Earth

You HAVE to check it out

Need Google to hurry up and cover Australia properly so I can see where my daughter lives :D

It certainly looks good but I get the same message as Brian!

Regards,
John

Uploaded view of New York with the 3D buildings turned on. You can rotate, zoom in/out, change the level of tilt ... amazing software :D

10Mb :)

The resolution for most of the UK isn't that great; for example, this is Chester from 12,903 feet, but the way it zooms out, pans across and zooms in on your new destination is very cool :D

Get in quick as it is available for down load.

At present I am waiting for the image to sort itself out over my house.
