I've been getting an error message all day in Windows Live Mail (Windows 7 Express replacement) that it is unable to connect to the Google pop.gmail.com server. Anyone else experiencing similar problems?

Gmail working fine via iPad and iPhone. I occasionally get something similar. To fix it I. Remove the account and then recreate it from scratch and then it's fine for a while.
