Got another spring problem (i think)

You don't say what hours they are allocating for the job but £175 seems a bit steep. I wonder if they are thinking about replacing the spring by the removal of the outer hub whereas the easy way is to drop the wishbone by removal of the inner pivot bolt??? Do they know this? An easy hours job-but maybe they charge £120/hr?

ps still worth considering even at that money to get a car with new springs all round.

Im not sure he didnt say how long the labour charge is based on but as its a local honda dealer family run i wouldnt have thought that they would be 120/hour. Even the local mb dealer is less than that.

Again as they are honda garage maybe they are going through the more common route to remove the spring and are not knowledgable of any shortcuts to easily remove the spring.
