Got my winter tyres

Well having just come over from the other (fwd) side, where I had a pair of steele
wheels and studded snow tyres ready and waiting just to be bolted on, I could drive around with no fear that I couldn't get around, yes I (think) I know that you are not allowed to use them on the roads and yes I only used them when condtions fully warranted it :bannana:
And once remembering an incident involving appproximately 2mm of snow and a friend in a new E350 trying to navigate his way out of- after being pushed around the car park by 4 pi$$ taking so called friends :fail
So I have purchased a set of 225 45 17 H rated Avon ice st, they are waiting for the wheels to be returned after a quick cheap repaint.
I chose them as they have a really quiet noise rating, and having previously used Avon tyres I found them good value for money with good wet handling.
I guess they wont be as good or as much fun as the old set up that had normal tyres on the rear but now at least I can proper drift :thumb:obviousy I'm not saying I would but just saying I could-that is allowed is it not
Bring on the snow
