We like the fact there is no need to turn on the garage light.

Neat feature.

Does the C-class offer the garage door opening feature? Certainly worth considering as a mod.

Regards,
John

Edit: Just had a thought.

The garage door opener would be useless if you did not have a remote opening garage door :o

It can also be configured to open security gates and turn on exterior house lights

Most german card can do homelink nowadays

time to think when the germans offer a illuminated home safe option ...???? makes you wonder about the next invasion .....blackouts would be useless  ;)

great car R2 :bannana:

:D :D Ouch... With a heated indoor swimming pool, I wish. ;)

By using the car lights to get into the car it gets round the problem of having to turn out the garage light?? There is of course a courtesy light on the garage door opening mechanism, but that is a catch 22.

You have to get into the car to open the garage door!!

John the scrooge

It really does look the biz G - really pleased for you!!

:bannana: well done - can't wait to see more pics :bannana:
(glad you didn't defect too ;))

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in reporting back. I had to work today which means I've now driven 100 miles and am utterly thrilled with the sheer competance of this car. The ride, the handling, the direct control steering the build quality are all excellent. Seats are so supportive and adjustable....I could go on but I'll stop being boring!

Dull weather but a few photos to keep you going until I can do some proper gallery ones!

It feels like a little S Class but my neighbour came out and asked it it was an S Class!

PS. Ambiance lighting in the bottom of the rear view mirror is a sign of the detailed work that has gone into the design of this car:)

top marks!

the interior looks so much better than the early 203, more modern and sleek.

Let the mods begin!

Congrats on the new car R2 & welcome to the W203! Excellent looking car, the facelift 2005 looks so fresh.

Good luck with the mods, if you decide to upgrade to Bi-Xenons and want to get rid of your facelift lights PLEASE let me know :)

LOL. I doubt I'll change them as they are so good and so white! Glad you like it, it is very modern looking and has attracted some admiring glances today.

:o Cheers, worth a try!

Nice car R2.
As others have said the facelift cars look so much better and are nicely appointed inside.
It looks to have been a good choice to go for an '05 car.

Who else on here has a facelifted w203. Have you fitted shiny pedals yet??

That really is very very nice.
In fact almost as nice as a shiny slk ;)
