Cheers Ted!

"Who else on here has a facelifted w203. Have you fitted shiny pedals yet??"

Pedal issue now resolved and parts ordered!

So far 2005 facelift owners seem to be me and Fuzzer. Any more?

I took delivery of an 2005 facelift 180k about 6 weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. What I've seen of it that is!
Missus drives daily as she has a secure car park at work and only drives an auto, I drive our 10 year old manual bumper to my work in the the city centre.

The 180 has really impressed me, you're all right to notice the steering as being very positive. I do miss the V6 of our old 4X4 and the beemer's straight 6 is smoother that the 4 cyl in the 180. Having said that it's a quicker car than the other 2.

The facelifted car has a nice interior, the dash looks good and it's quiet.

We'll welly down to the South of France once or twice this summer and I'm really looking forward to the drive!

What are these parrots and quadlocks you speak of ?

I need to convert the ISO output of a Parrot Bluetooth Kit into the quadlock adapter on the back of new Commands and Audio 20s. My phone will then integrate with the hifi but it still wont display numbers on the hifi screen :(

MB Bluetooth UHI ? (does such a thing exist - thought it did anyway - does for BMW, at least) - would that give you the on-dash display ?

Sadly not yet. It is supposed to be coming but parrot will do for now. I'm hearing differing reports about the steering wheel button adapter. SAome say they dont work well. Has anyone any experience??

I have been away for a few days. Greg, a great looking car and lots of goodies to play with, can't wait to see it on the IIth FEB. I am sure you will both be very HAPPY.

Cheers Peter! It looks great but isnt quite as fast as yours;) See you on the 11th

Thank you to all who bought bits off of my C200! The last lot was collected yesterday and my garage is now a parts free zone! My car car lves on in a million bits all over the country. I removed the wheels, centres, grill, bulbs(!), mirrors, b pillar trims, blind, steering wheel, gearknob, hifi, smartnav, pedals, tax disc, bose badges, K&N air filter and anything else I could arrange to swap back!

i'll try and do a new gallery soon. Thanks again!

R2 was kind enough to take me for a quick spin in his new motor and I must say I am utterly impressed. Very smooth and comfortable ride with very decent acceleration too. The toys inside are impressive as are the little touches like ambient lighting. I must say it is giving me the 'itch' that everyone else seems to be getting.

Thanks again for the ride R2 :bannana:

My pleasure! What would we do without "my" test track;)

it was good to see you again High lo. Hopefully we'll see you and others at the GTG at the Bridgewood on the 11th.

I'm getting used to the car already and getting the confidence to "go for the gaps" again.

Having the mpg displayed is a laugh. I've managed 33mpg cruising and 21mpg not cruising.

Glad your liking the car :D

If I ever get 42mpg I'll be equally amazed and chuffed!!

I love this photo, I'll put the others in my gallery.

I've seen 42mpg on a c180K. all you need to do is to drive very carefully, taking your foot off the pedal when going downhill etc.

I have managed37on a 200k but only on the motorwat at 70, when its cold on short journeys about 12. :bannana:

So far I have only driven short journeys so I'm getting 26 mpg ish, I'm looking forward to a long drive. I once got 35.5mpg from my old C200!

I got 37mpg from mine on a 400 mile drive from Edinburgh and mine's a C320 so I would expect 40mpg+ will be relatively easy to achieve!
