Hello,

RE: ABS FAULT - WHEEL SPEED LIVE DATA

So now have dozens of pages of live wheel speed data saved to the BENZ-EN-TEST (.rex file).

Please could somebody tell me how to get a graph of the data (without having to hand type hundreds of numbers into an excel spreadsheet)?

Many thanks

Have a look at this rather old thread, posts number 6 and 17 in particular. I have no idea if the member concerned is still around.
Thanks for the reply Stratman. Looks like merc07 is the computer person and has created a way to convert the data to something that can be used by Excel. I have saved my speed data to an Excel spreadsheet but each cell contains the km/h figure along with all the unwanted text so it's 'just' a case of separating out all those numbers from the text to put into a graph ?? Amazed icarsoft hasn't done this ? So, if you are out there merc07 it would be great if you could give us a few pointers :)

You can do text to colums in Excel which should make it slightly easlier.

Thanks for the reply Killer. Not sure what you mean? I have just been looking at something called 'RegExtract' that would take the whole text i.e "Wheel speed at rear left axle ------ 10 km/h" and just extract the "10" into a new column which could then be easily used to create a graph. Can't get it to work at mo but will post when I have the answer.

Have just found your 'text to column' under the 'data' tab at the top of the screen. Just need to separate the number from the km/h.
