Are you going to fit some of the offset Brabus exhaust pipes Talbir?

Not usually a fan of green cars, but that does work.

Thanks, yes, fitting a bespoke 500E exhaust that has the fat twin angled pipes.

I'll be removing the centre box though and depending on what reg is assigned, the cats will come off as well....as long it is J reg i'm in, otherwise i'll use the set of E60 freeflow cats i have to keep it legal.

The sound is transformed with no cats and only a rear box.

exhaust notes are an addiction... my widebody can be heard from miles away and at times you cant hear the music from the becker...

The 500e brabus box (less mid section) gives a nice v8 growl that doesnt interfere with the nice comfortable ride.

I'd love to hear that V8 Growl! Whats the difference between a E36/C36 AMG dual exhaust and a Remus for a M104... are they the same or 2 different sounds?

Remus is usually materially better sound....better quality as well.

I dont know about that actually, i tried a Remus before i finally sourced the C36 backbox... and the C36 exhaust gives a much more deeper raw'er sound, the remus is more boomy and louder (ie. irritating) and doesn't get that much quieter on cruising whereas the C36 exhaust does. In both cases i had my silencers removed with 2 cat setup.

Thats the only thing putting me off about the ebay ones, my mate got one for his coupe and the thing is so flimsy, but for the loo ki might just get it.

Jay is that the same as you got on the Brabus?

I would consider painting or waxoyling the inside of it... it will rust.
