depends what you buy i saved £30 on front brake discs with cp4l over gsf . like i said i compare the 3 .

£157 for that lot seems ok to me.

Just need to get oil and oil filter plus a thermostat from newcastle mercedes and I'm off. Looks like they do oil and oil filter for decent money and you know you're going to get the correct grade then.

Cheaper to get the oil separately from Mercedes on eBay, and order the filter (MANN) off GSF

I've emailed Steve at merc of edinburgh for the oil and a thermostat. I assume he'll do them for the same price they would be listed on their ebay page.

I'll have a busy day with that lot anyway.

20L of 229.51 oil is £64.99 on MB Newcastle but as you say Steve will probably match

P.s remember you’ll need a new copper crush washer if you are doing a sump drain

Nice one Abs, managed to get a Mann fuel filter listed on GSF for £27.50 for £11.00 with free delivery. Their Wiper blades are a tad expensive even with a discount. I ended up getting a pair of Bosch A949s off of Amazon for £20.35. On GSF a D2S light bulb (1 ) is £75.50 !
You just have to be a canny shopper and shop around.

Good to hear Steve, ironically I have a Mann oil and air filter on the table in front of me to be fitted at the next service. I just change them everytime now..

Mercedes say to change the air filter every 4 years! Crazy in my opinion! They get clogged up.

I got 2 D2S Philips bulbs for £46 from a guy near my house who bought the wrong type

There's an air filter for each bank of the V6 on the 212, and they are not cheap. Im used to air filters costing 10-15quid! Not £90+ for a pair! The discount code does make it a bit more palatable though. Oh and mine are filthy.

No business wanting to survive can offer 40,50, 60% plus off goods so regularly.
