GSF vs MB for front springs

stick to the mb ones, just to be on the safe side and if anything goes wrong like spring brakin you can always bring it back and you should be able to get your money back or something

Buy an Eibach kit and replace all four and take the slightly lower ride height, they will be less prone to snapping....

I think it's a materials and design issue too, had similar problems with some Vauxhalls. With the Merc springs being inboard on many models, they are subjected to much larger compression.

How so ?

There will be less actual movement for each coil compared to springs placed towards the outer edge of the car which will move a lot more.
