Halfords BOGOF.

I've tried to get hold of some of the Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo under this over, mysteriously my local store seems to not even have a place for it (it has always stocked it before) and another nearby store I specially visited had a place for it but no stock . . .

hmmmm.

Funny, I thought that I might get to my store and find that had ''gone'' but it was there thankfully.

yeah - had plenty in my local store (Blackpoo) - i bought some NXT speed detailler and got some scratchX free with it - a good offer!

Funny stores. Overpriced in every item everything. This is the only time to go there when it normal price with BOGOF.:bannana:

Bought two Magic polish for the price of one but it gone up from £8.99 to £9.99

This is one or twice a year to jack up their turnover or they close soon.

Staff are not friendly either, ask for information from one staff, told to go to see another.

Bought a Raleigh bike a couple of years ago been served by a temp. Went back there again for the free service, the temp is gone and told to come back at a specific time and date ended up obviate the free service.

Made enquiry about curing a dent or cuff mark, never convenient appointment or long waiting list.

Their days are numbered like Woolies.

I bought a Turtle wax wash (original price £5) and a glass cleaner (original price £4.99) for £2.50.

I understand the Turtle Wax was half price but how come I didnt pay anything for the glass cleaner. I questioned this with the lady at the till but she gave me an explanation that didnt make any sense to me and I happily left the store with 2 products for half the price of one.

My conscience is clear!

I just ordered some Meguiars to collect at Dartford store, if your local store does not have it in stock then you can order ot from there website. If your buying a reasonable amount of things then even with the £5 P&P, the deal is still very good.

I bought £100 worht of product. I would have no problem in paying £55 and getting the £45 discount. I might stock up and get more.

I went to Halfords the other day to get Autoglym custom wheel cleaner but they didn't have any and the staff had no recollection of ever selling it, despite the fact that I'd bought some there fairly recently. As regards HD Wax, Halfords when they have the BOGOF offer make it relatively cheap, but you can get one tub of it on amazon for £24.95 anyway, which, depending on how much or how little you use might be easier.

I use Gold class on my MB. You need to also invest in a couple of shampooing mits, some polish and a polishing mit......bucket.....

lol, got all that stuff, you should see my garage. Hundreds of pounds in there, various waxes etc.

The gold class is the best shampoo I've ever used (and I've tried many) it suds up really good which is what you want.

I used to use AutoGlym but its like p*ss in comparison, I only use that to remove initial dirt and clean the wheels these days.
