Hi,

Can any of the detailers help?? I have handcream on my seats and door panels due to the lovely lady in my life and daughter... I have it on both cars...

What can i use to get this off as everything i've tried hasnt worked...

cheers Greg

I use Gliptone cleaner followed by the conditioner. The good Mrs WN seems to think she has to apply copious amounts of various creams just before going out, my seats are always getting covered in the stuff!!

Wise move.

I have strict instructions about lotions and potions in the cars as both have Alcantara steering wheels. Needless to say they are ignored!

It's a bit like why do they have to close the door by pressing their greasy paws against the window when there is a freakin' door handle!

The Gliptone spray cleaner is very good, I use it more than the thicker gel cleaner.

Ive had similar issues, together with painting nails on car and dripping it on the seats!

baby wipes should do the trick , keep a pack in the car all the time!

Whats wrong with handcream on leather? It should actually do it some good. Leather is skin and it will help keep it subtle and well treated.

Because it leaves a greasy mark that attracts dirt. Good quality leather conditioners are water based and are absorbed into the leather and don't coat the surface.

Not into aniline leather, the treatment stops it being absorbed.
