hello folks, i need to take the head off my E220 to change the core plug at the back, so obviously il need a new gasket to go back on.
i dont have a manual and can find little info on the net.
so my questions are, what do i need to know, bolt torques, can the chain tensioners be re-used and how to correctly align the timing marks and where can they be found?
or anything that ive forgotten to mention.
any help is much appriciated.

The haynes 124 manual from Halfords etc cover your car.

Unfortunately the HAYNES W124 manual doesn't cover the 2.2 litre 111.960 engine BUT fortunately the HAYNES manual for the C class w202 covers the 111.961 engine which is pretty much the same.:bannana: I would try to take up Ian's kind offer because his experience is invaluable and could save you a lot of heartache.
