Heater control lamps

Looking for a source of 12v 0.4w bulbs to be used in the heater control switches of a 124 series 260e. Dealers tell me they are part of the control switch, which is far to expensive just to replace a bulb

your dealer is lying

phone another and get a part number. The bulbs are available seperately.

Depending on the age of your car though the new ones may appear slightly different. Original bulbs were "frosted" the replacement ones aren't so they are slightly brighter.

If so a trip to maplins will get you as many as you need.

Thanks for the replies. First reply sounds like my bulbs, frosted, so I will do as advised and ask another dealer.

Any decent motor factor should be able to supply these. I paid £1.20p each around six months ago.
