help key remote

can anyone help me? i have had my key stolen from work its for a mercedes c180 97 w202 model. its the pear shape remote with three buttons on. i have rang mercedes and they want £250 for a new remote. with 7 day waiting. the problem is i go away up to the lakes in three days which i need the car for. can anyone suggest a cheaper quicker option?

p.s when i brought the car it only had the one key.

Whatever you do, you will need to have the system reprogrammed to send a different code signal. This will prevent whoever took your key from taking the car!

You have had it, as you cannot get a key unless its from a main dealer.
Dont buy one from Ebay as they cant be reprogrammed.
You will need your Passport ,log book and proberly a utility bill as well.
