help needed on a reg plate

i have a E55 being offer to me for spares it has sat for 5 years

its on english plates could i sell the plate and if so how

its a nice plate at least i think so i just hate to see it go to waste

If it hasn't had a valid MoT within the past six months then it would need to be MoTd before you could transfer or retain the plate. Depending on what the number is, that's probably not worth doing - otherwise the vendor would probably have already done it.
