NTG2 does not have built in bluetooth - so thats why it is not in the manual (I am assuming your B class is pre model year 2009)
Do you have the phone pre-wire (connector in drawer in armrest). If so you will need to add a bluetooth adapter to it such as Viseeo MB-4+ (MB4) Bluetooth interface for UHI & MHI equipped cars. | Mercedes Bluetooth & Phone | Comand Online Ltd
If you don't have that you'll need a phone system retrofitted - speak to Mercedes Retrofit Specialist - Comand.co.uk

Hi Richard, my car is 2007 and has a viseo under the armrest. It was working fine with my HT Desire HD, but the iPhone does not even detect the bluetooth, I'm stumped. I do have the feeling it may be the version 8.1.1 software, because when I went to the telephone shop.the phone was running version 7... and could find other bluetooth devices. When I got the phone home, it almost immediately asked me if I wanted to upgrade to IOS8, maybe a wrong move. Oh, the viseo I have is not the same as your link, I bought it in 2011 and has a blue light flashing on the top.

Your phone needs to detect the ViseeO and not the COMAND. The Viseeo needs to be put into pairing mode.
If yours is all black with a Mercedes logo, then it is a Mercedes HFP. The bottom of the top (i.e the big flat surface) is a button. Hold down for a few seconds and the blue light starts flashing faster - search for phones on iPhone, find "MB bluetooth" ask to pair, code is 62872
If it says viseeo on it and has 4 buttons, hold down top button for a few seconds until PAIR light flashes, search for phones on iPhone, find ViseeO pair code is 1234 (or was it 0000..)
