help please s211 oil

hi recently purchased an 07 s211 and according to the hand book should be able to check the oil from the instrument cluster but try as i might cannot find how to make this work,I have a dipstick in the engine bay so not a real problem but would like to know if this option does not exist on all 211s
had the car put on star machine and the technician said it did not show up on his readout

The thing is that the info in the handbooks cover all different options, whether fitted to the car or not. There were variations from year to year.
If the technician says he couldn't find it, it probably isn't fitted.

On my pre-facelift 2005 S211 I scroll through the menus until I see the outside temp. Then I hit the down arrow and it's there. Followed by miles to next service IIRC. Then the speed readout.
