help urgently needed lol.....brake caliper!!!

rite cut a long story short.....

1x Merc C220 Diesel Esprit...1998 R reg

1x NSR brake caliper...SEIZED

1x Vice
1x Crowbar

2x snaps....on caliper carriers in vice with aid of crowbar!!

now i need a caliper with i think 35mm piston if thats right lol

Anyone got one thats not seized?

Why didnt you just pump the piston out with the hydraulics?

believe me....i tried that too it was seized absolutely solid!

If you couldnt pump it out then there's no way that a crowbar would have shifted it.

Mind you, I've never heard of a piston that couldnt be pumped out so it sounds like your Caliper was probably toast anyway.

as your seals are U S anyway,I would heat the calper up this will help release the piston,if you have a grease gun take out the bleed screw screw in a grease nipple and pump it out with grease.Works for me every time.

the caliper is no use now anyways.....it snapped where the caliper carrier bolts onto the rear axle thats why i need the complete caliper as the one i have has nothing to bolt it on anymore
