Help! w204 C class DAB radio not working

Hi all i have had my 2013 coupe for 3 weeks now, since iv had it the DAB hasn't worked once it shows no signal. This was one of the features i was looking forward to using. Is there something im missing here i.e. did i need to specify the internet package to use the DAB?

Would appreciate if anyone could shed some light on the issue thanks,

Have you selected an ensemble and done the 'autostore'?

Yep I had to click down to dab on the bottom menu and select autostore for it to work.

Cheers guys got it working now, have to say I'm a bit disappointed with the sound quality though! More or less the same as FM.

not sure DAB has ever been heralded as superior sound quality- many review state it's worse than FM

I find it fine and obviously miles better on Radio 5 than AM.

Unfortunately, many people have been sucked into the "digital is best" myth when it comes to sound quality. As you've found, DAB radio is, in general, worse quality than FM as it is severely bitrate limited so that they can squeeze more stations into the same frequency spectrum. "Never mind the quality, feel the width" springs to mind.

Guys, how do you find the DAB reception? Mine is terrible, yet it was great in the demo car I had although that didn't have command

Pretty good mostly, though I've got comand & HK audio.
