Im new to the world of Mercedes, i have been a VW nut for the past 7 years! I have revently bought a 2000 CLK 230 Komp, FMSH and 71K on the clock!
I have a few questions around my car, firstly fuel consumption. I previously had a 2003 Golf R32 which if you dont know is a 240 bhp 3.2 litre V6 hot hatch. I used to get around 140-160 miles out of 40 quids of juice. Can i expect the same with my Merc? This was all local driving and none motorway use by the way.
I also have the BAS ESP light on intermitantly as well as SRS, its going in to an indy Merc specialist on tuesday.
Im more concerned on the petrol front as id like to know realistic what figures to expect.

no worries i just got 27.5 on a mixture on a and b roads so not to bad!
