Hi,
i was thinking about replacing my old head light bulbs and replacing them with HID canbus error free bulbs, anyone know of a place i can get these from?
and was also thinking of changing the fog light bulbs (H1) to led one would i get an error on the dash if i do so??

Don't do it, it's illegal and inconsiderate!

It's late and I'm feeling lazy. Click on search, you'll see a plethora on posts describing how illegal this is.

I neve knew the HID bulbs would be illegal as a majority of all new cars have them, would have to read a bit more about them
 
They aren't illegal when fitted from the factory with washers , levelling systems , the correct lenses , relflectors etc .

They are illegal to fit them to a light designed for a halogen lamp.
 
The search feature isn't working for me... getting timeouts... but from the horses mouth (dft.gov):

Aftermarket HID (Xenon) headlamps

To add a note; the MOT does NOT check this at the moment. Rumour has it that in 2012 HIDs will be checked. Just because a car passes MOT doesn't mean it's road legal.
