An anyone tell me where I'm going wrong ? I've rebuilt high pressure pump on clk 270 cdi after it had been left standing for six months and leaked , now I have the car running it has after ten minutes started leaking again ? I'm going to rebuild again ..... Any tips thanks

Did you rebuild it or just replace the seals.

Using a seal kit isn't the same as rebuilding those pumps :)

Replaced seals only any ideas

That small metal ring seal is easily misplaced when putting things back. Then did you have lot of corrosion between pump dead and body (cleaned them properly)? Sometimes I've heard that pump sylinder head has been bent and surfaces had to machined straight again (I just wonder what has caused bending in first place, attempt to cure the leak by tightening bolts more? Correct torque of the bolt is quite low).

Did you changed those o-rings of the hoses (leak looks like coming from pump)?

Fitted new seals in my pump but it still leaked afterwards (between the cylinder head and body), it turned out that the pump 'cylinder heads' were warped..... A re-con pump from ECP sorted the problem.

Thank you I shall investigate
