My dads old W123 200 had 518,000 when he got rid of it. It just kept going and going. The underside needed too much welding tho so it had to go

1989 190E used for 5 years as a taxi currently got 390,000 on the clock but overheating ! (head gasket me thinks)

Fix it before it causes any damage to the engine through either burning through or oil dilution.

You don't say what engine it is but if it's a petrol then upgrade to a 2.5 diesel so you can properly see in the 1 million.

uch! diesel ! couldnt afford to run one of them !
its the good old 2ltr petrol running on LPG so shouldnt suffer from oil degredation.
glad to say doesnt use water just worstening water pressure building up due to suspect head gasket, also doesnt help matter is that the heater matrix is bypassed due to leak.
truly a buletproof mercedes engine when you consider that the last 300,000 is taxi use mainly short journey's 2nd 3rd gear jobs.
should have kept a log on how many people it carried as a taxi maybe a new record !.
