How do I go on about replacing my tyres?

To each their now, but literally no point getting Merc to change your tyres. If anything they know less about changing tyres than a specialist tyre centre
I agree, I’ve not yet been to a Mercedes dealer which even attempts to sell tyres. If someone wants to buy then they often get a tyre fitter around the corner - or a mobile specialist - to do the job and add a margin.

Vive la difference!

I have to agree, I wouldn't dream of taking it a dealer for tyres when they may do a handful a month compared to someone who does this all day every day, but each to their own.

Thanks for all the responses. After more thorough researched I decided to go for the exact same ones as I have now.

I currently have all seasons on all 4 which is supposed to make the crabbing somewhat less of an issue, like some of you have mentioned and after checking out other user posts about their summer tyres and the damage they had just after 10-15k miles, mine is in great condition compared to those that I’ve seen on here. I’m also getting into the habit of not using the full lock as much unless absolutely necessary so we’ll see how that goes. I’ll be going to merc to have the tyres changed since it’s a new car and I still prefer to have everything done by them, even if it costs a bit more that way.
It's your money; waste it if you wish. You'll gain nothing whatever, except possibly a warm fuzzy feeling, by doing so, though.

You have told us that this is your first car. Many here have owned cars for 30, 40 50 or more years; just 50 years in my case.

I have never been to a dealer for tyres; it makes no sense. You haven't told us where you live, but I guess that one or more of us could direct you to a local tyre fitter who will do a good job at a fair price.

I have my favourites, one for my Land Rover & MB, but a different one for my classic cars. I always prepare myself with the price of a tyre on the open market before committing to have it supplied & fitted, and very occasionally ask for a "price match".

Good luck.

I bought tyres at a MB dealer in the past, it was in for an MOT and would have failed on the fronts and the rears didn’t have long left either.

The price was better than my local guy so I did all 4.

I was recently quoted by another dealer and they were cheapest, however, they only fit Pirelli Pzero and I was keen to be rid of them.

Could I ask why were you keen to get rid of the Pzero tyres? The car I've just bought needs a tyre and it has pzeros. I didn't realise that there are so many pzeros to choose from either

The rears would spin too easily and the fronts tramlined.
