Hi,

I'm getting the coil light coming back on on the dashboard after the engine is started for about a minute then it goes. I've been told it means one of the glow lamps has gone.

Are they easy to change and if so how do you know which one it is?

Any advice much appreciated

I had a glow plug coil light coming on after engine started, I though I had a bad glow plug, checked the resistance of all the glowplugs and they were fine.

In the end I had to replace the glow plug relay, cost about €200, problem solved

use a meter to test the resistance of each plug by measuring at the relay to plug connector.

My Vito has just started showing the glow plug light for a short period after start up.
My Sprinter had the same problem for around 30k miles (sold it like that) and I recall it starting okay in the minus 15 temp we had a few winters back.
Think I'll get the Vito checked over though.
